Born and raised in south Louisiana, Lisette left the Pelican State to spend five snowy winters in Pennsylvania before returning south, settling in Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of the University of Houston, where she studied interesting things like Sociology and Psychology, later finding that both subjects served her well when working with the diverse population in southeast Texas. She spent most of her working years in marketing and communications, ending with a long stint in city government.

When not writing, Lisette enjoys all the arts, especially music and dance. During the summer months, she can be found watching the Astros with her husband.

Dance With Me is her debut novel, and is the first book in the Ford’s Crossing Series
